What little we know of the man called J.B.
Books
Shooting,
robbing, riding, drinking, gambling and cow punching . . .
this cowboy has done it all. J.B. has even been asked to wear
the tin star from time to time. In the absence of a real law
man, towns looking to pin a badge on someone would sometimes
just hire the fastest gun available. This outlaw will do anything
for the right price.
He has
been rumored to have ridden with the Jesse James Gang for
a while, 'til their defeat in Northfield, Minnesota . He has
worked with the Earp brothers in Tombstone, Arizona and with
Buffalo Bill Cody. Some folks say he has even worked with
the likes of Tom Horn or the Hannibal Hudson Gang.
There’s
no telling where he’ll turn up next. But one thing is
for certain — if J.B. Books is in town you had better
keep one eye on him and one eye on your money because there’s
no telling which one will disappear first.
