"The Poker Queen"

Lady gamblers were rare in the Old West and lady dealers were even more rare but that is what Lottie was. She was given the nickname "Lotsa Dinero" because of her ability to win.

She was cultured, attractive and very proper in her dress. Some say she was immortalized in the T.V. show Gunsmoke as Miss Kitty. Men just loved to lose their hard-earned money to the beautiful Lottie.

Some have linked her to Doc Holliday when he was on the run and landed in Jacksboro, Texas in the 1870's.

Late in life Lottie formed "The Golden Gossip Club" in 1912. This group survives today and meets weekly in Deming, New Mexico.
