Mad Jack McFee is on the run from the Texas rangers. He's wanted in Texas, Kansas, and Califonia as well as the Oklhoma and Arizona Territories.

After trying to hide out in Mexico for a while, he soon found out that the Texas Rangers had no troubles crossing the border to do "justice". After narrowly escaping, he decided North would be a better place to hide out. With no one having knowledge of his looks in that part of the country, he decided to stay low and assume the name "Buck", working for whoever would hire him along with a small job for himself every now and then. But things were not as unnoticed as he may have liked as every now and then the law, including Tom Horn and even Deputy Marshall Bass Reeves, appeared around those parts . . .

So for the time being he decided to stay quiet and hope no one would catch on to his new Identity.
