Shadows of the Old West

Our school hosted the cowboys and cowgirls from Shadows of the Old West at our school picnic this spring. Our children (and staff) will never forget the experience! At the end of the school year our students vote for the "Top 10" things about Forest Hills Elementary and Shadows of the Old West was at the top.

Hey, just wanted to drop a note to tell you how much I enjoyed all your performances at the Gold Star this past weekend. I felt like I'd been on a fabulous vacation with showing arabians mixed into great performances of your troupe. Enjoyed talking with you also.

My little grandson tonight said - "Hey, MiMi, you know what I'm going to be? I'm going to be a sheriff with TWO guns!" So obviously he is your fan also.

Everyone LOVED the Shadows actors. They were all incredibly professional and all were VERY entertaining. Everyone was well prepared and on time for every performance. They adapted well to the varying crowds, mixing and mingling with everyone.

I only got rave reviews from each and every act. People commented that they felt like they had stepped back in time into the Old West. I would
highly recommend this troupe of actors and entertainers to anyone else looking for Wild West performances. High quality and reasonablypriced.

From the first step of out of the truck, this group was very professional and entertaining. They don’t just play a character from the old west, they are that person. The young and the old were so excited after branding leather, throwing the knives and tomahawks and getting a chance to talk with Huckleberry. Also everyone was amazed that Tom Horn could stand on his horse and do tricks the entire parade.

This group gave our western theme it’s western theme. Just an outstanding show.

What a fantastic show you put on!!!!! That was such a professional production!!! You had everything covered - props, music, lights, movie recording, costumes, makeup! It was awesome!!! Everyone I talked to just loved it.

Thanks for all your help and encouragement too! I was so nervous because I wanted to do such a good job for Jim Boecke and you guys!! Thanks for cheering and letting us use your sound system and for the people you had that helped us so much!! Now I truly know what stage fright is. I seem to do fine outside - no microphones - no one I know!! Inside is a whole different ballgame!!!
